The Event Schedule - 2009

EVENT SCHEDULE
6:00 AM: Gates open and meat inspection begins
7:00 AM: Cook’s breakfast of Brooklyn bagels, cream cheese, coffee, tea, etc.
8:00 AM: Cook’s meeting in the school cafeteria. A representative of each team must be present.
8:00 AM: All vehicles must be removed from the contest site.
11:00 AM: Judge’s meeting in the school cafeteria.
12:00 PM: Chicken Breast turn-in
12:45 PM: Fish turn-in
1:00 PM: People’s Choice Chili Smack-down contest opens (Chili contest is optional.)
1:30 PM: Pork turn-in
2:15 PM: Chef’s Choice turn-in
4:00 PM: People’s Choice Chili Smack-down contest voting ends.
4:30 PM: Award Ceremony.

Can I eat my fill of award winning barbecue?

YES.

There will be barbecue, beer, non-alcoholic beverages Chili and other foods available to the general public.

Food Will Be Available starting at Noon.

Chili Tastings Begin at 1:00 PM

Awards Ceremony at 4:20 PM


Chili is $10 per person - all you can eat of our contestant's chili, until it runs out.
You also get to vote for the winning chili!

Barbecue, beer, other beverages and food items must be purchased separately.

All monies raised will go to St.Mark School.
